We totally forgot to update you all on Girl Talk's new album. Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) has taken the international music scene by storm in less than a year. Actually he's become one of the coolest laptoprockers around. Last year, we interviewed Gregg around the time he had just decided to quit his day job to do music full-time.

In the past months, Gregg earned praises from Rolling Stone, Newsweek, SPIN, Pitchfork, XLR8R and now there's a new album. Cool. His fourth full-length album is called "Feed The Animals" and was released last month. Hungry for new music? Eh, yeah.... maybe!

"Feed The Animals" is similar in construction to his last album "Night Ripper" but the main difference is the price you have to pay for it. You can download the digital version of "Feed The Animals" for whatever price you want! If you pay over $5, you get an added bonus of one big mp3 file with all of the tracks connected. If you pay over $10, then you are pre-ordering a physical copy of the CD.

The album is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial license so it does not interfere with the rights you have under the fair use doctrine, which gives you permission to make certain uses of the work even for commercial purposes. Also, the CC license does not grant rights to non-transformative use of the source material Girl Talk used to make the album.

Girl Talk "Feed The Animals" is out now on Illegal Art. If you're interested in music from the label, you can download a music sampler from their website.
