The new U-Control UMA25S Keyboard controller from Behringer combines a powerful MIDI controller with on-board USB audio interface and complete software package to provide a personal production powerhouse.
25 velocity-sensitive keys and a wealth of continuous controllers offer full performance control while the on-board USB audio interface accepts both mic or line signals. The UMA25S operates on DC, battery or USB power and ships with energy/XT2 Compact Behringer Edition DAW software plus over 100 plug-ins. Behringer provides a low latency ASIO driver compatible with Mac or PC (Windows XP and Vista).
Featuring eight buttons plus eight assignable rotary controllers, pitch bend, mod wheel and transport controls the UMA25S allows you to assign 21 controllers in each preset. A direct monitoring option and a MIDI out port makes it a package hard to resist. It's a pity there's no MIDI in - so you can't synchronise with other Laptops - but what the heck, you can't expect to have it all at such a bargain price.
